A Rookie mistake, the goalie catches the ball, but back pedals into the net, which clearly showed the ball was in the net. Instead the goalie should have simply punch the ball of the box.

(Group B)

Result: PSG 4 - 0 Anderleght
3' K. Mbappe (PSG) / 44' E. Cavani (PSG) / 66' Neymar (PSG) / 88' A. Di Maria (PSG)

PSG started the game very strong, within the first 3 minutes of the game Mbappe scored the first goal of the game; a quick one two action between Verratti and Mbappe, the youngster hammer the ball hard and low to finding it's way in the back of the net. As the finial minutes of the first half of the game comes to an end, Cavani expands the lead between Anderleght. Neymar let's loose a fierce shot at the net, the goalie managed to reflex the shot, but the ball was then head to Mbappe to Cavani who was on the opposite side of the net.

As the second half gets on away, not much action has happen until the 66th minute, Neymar was tackle right outside of the box, PSG was rewarded with the free kick. Neymar gets himself set up, then drills his shot to finding it's way to the back of net! PSG wasn't holding back, they soon made it 4 - 0 with Di Maria timing his shoot perfectly

17' T. Mullur (BM) / 29' J. Kimmich (BM) / 51' M. Hummels (BM)

As the game gets on the way not a lot of actions happens between the two teams, but what do you expect the game just started and both teams are slowly building into it. At the 17 minute; Kimmich  gives a nice cross straight to Lewandowski who headed the ball at the net,. Great reaction time from the goalie however, Mullur the teams fool was able to sneak in and score from the rebound. As the first

As the second half game starts up, Bayern scored another goal. This is what lead up to the goal. Bayern Munich was rewarded with the free kick. Robben who had helped lead the team to winning a UCL a few seasons ago took the corner kick. Eyeing Hummel's he kicks it's to the middle where Hummel's ran up to the middle and headed it into the back of the net

(Group C)

Result: Roma 3 - 3 Chelsea Fc
11' D. Luiz (C) / 37' 75' E. Hazard (C) / 40' A. Kolarov  (R) / 64' 70' E. Dzeko  (R)

One of the most intense games of the 3rd round of the group stages! Both Teams battling it out with for the win, however the overall result had ended with a tie, here's what went down; The First goal was by David Luiz. David L. try passing the ball to one of his teammate who was in the penalty box area, however the pass was blocked and the ball return to David's feet. He took a touch and then ripped a shot that curled into the bottom left goal.  Morata is given a through ball, he then cut to the inside attempting to rip a shot at net, however the shot was deflected by a Roma defender. The Ball loops to the back of the post, where Hazard had greatly position himself for a half volley goal. As we get to the finial minutes of the first half, Kolarov had made a great run heading towards the net. He then smash the ball over the goalie's reach.

At the 69 minute, Roma midfielder deliver a nice cross over to Dzeko. Lovely one touch volley, which found it's way to the back of the net, tying the game with one of the giants of the English teams over in England. Dzeko again, am I hearing a come back from Roma? It sure looks like it, given a free kick, Number 11 from Roma deliver a great cross to Dzeko who then headed the ball into the net. At the 75 minute Hazard becomes the equalizer! Another cross from one of his teammates, Hazard was able to head the ball to the bottom left corner.

Result: Fc Barcelona 3 - 1 Olympiacos
18' (OG) 89' D. Nikolaou (Oly) / 61' L. Messi (barc) 64' L. Digne (Barc)

A horrible start for Olympiacos, Deulofeu cross it in but Nikolaou failed to deflect it out of the box. Seem to me that Barcelona is getting a little bit of an early lead. Not much action had happen within the first half of the game, However Pique was given a red card for hand balling the ball into the net and then claiming he didn't touch the ball.

At the 61 minute of the game Barcelona was reward a free kick. The magician always have something up his sleeves and sure enough he did. His free kick managed to fine it's way to the back of the net. 3 minutes later Digne had scored with a low finish. As the game comes to an end, and Olympiaco barley making a detent to Barcelona strong defense, Nikolaou had found a way to break they're lines. Making up for his mistake with in the first 18 minutes of the game, he did own it his club for that mistake.

Result: Juventus 2 - 1 Sporting CP
12' (OG) A. Sandro (J)  / 28' M. Pjanic (J) / 84' M. Mandzukic (J)

Juventus who had made it to the UCL finial last season, started the game rough. Within the first 12 minutes of the game Sporting had made a great run, Buffon made a great effort the prevent the goal, but sadly the ball had ricochet off Juventus defender Sandro hitting his shin and straight into the goal. The pace soon started to pick up, at the 28 minute a free kick was given to Juventus. The Argentina rising star Dybla and Pjanic step up for the free kick and plan. Moments later Pjanic kicked the ball into the top left corner, not much the goalie can do there. Pjanic can join Messi and Neymar who had scored amazing goals from a free kick.

As the game comes to close, it looks to be that the game is going to end with a tie, but at the 84th minute, Costa from the left side did an amazing cross to Mandukic who then had an amazing finish with a nice headers.

(Group F)

Result: Manchester City 2 - 1 Napoli
9' R. Sterling (MC) / 13' G. Jesus (MC) /  73' Diawaral (N)

Man City in the Premier League has been killing, undefended so far, and are on top of the table ! Let's see how the English team stands up to Napoli who had an amazing last game as well. In the first 9 minutes of the game Sterling had scored the first goal, point man city in the right direction ! David Silva deliver a lovely cross into the box, Walker had his chance at the net but the ball was soon deflected by Napoli's goalie. Sterling position himself very nicely and was able to take advantage of the rebound. Within the next 4 minutes of the game Man city scored another goal! Kevin De Bruyne see his team Jesus and sends him a perfect cross and he was able to one touch the ball into the net. Napoli was reward a penalty kick at the 37 minute, however the shot was deflected off the goalie's leg.

Right into the second half at the 73 minute Napoli was again reward a penalty kick once again. This time a new player had stepped up to take the kick. No mistakes this time, the ball went right into the net.

(Group H)

Result: Real Madrid 1 -1 Tottenham
27' R. Varann (OG - RM) / 43' Penalty Kick - C. Ronaldo (RM)
\
The remaining champs, Real Mardid. So far this season they haven't been performing well in La Liga, so far as of right now I believe the team has they're sites more on the UCL hoping to repeat another win as they have been defending the title for two straight years now.

27 minutes into the game one of the spurs made a nice cross to their young/rising star striker Kane. Kane wasn't able to make contact with the ball, but it get knocks off Varane and past Navas, not the best start for Real Madrid. Just minutes before the end of the first half, Real Madrid was rewarded with a penalty kick. Ronaldo had stepped up to take the kick and Ronaldo had easily scored. The Match ended with a tie.

Dallas Cowboys - Prescott #4

This is my roommate Zack, he's a retired track athletic, and for most of the time is back at the apartment; either Reading his books, making some food for the rest of us, jamming to his huge mixture of music, or watching the Dallas Cowboys. Keeping his eyes on both Elliott and Prescott. Recently I watched one of the games with Zack and I have to admit I respect the type of quarter back that Drak Prescott is. He is a top class athlete, who is able to make some amazing passes, great solo runs, and take control of the field. The best part is this is his 2nd season. So this athlete has a lot of time to grow and maybe help his team win a super bowl.
Zack's Tattoo: A wolf and it's cub
I had talked to Zack about the reason behind the story to why he wanted a back of wolfs on his chest. He's response was "A Wolf pack is similar to a human family, in terms of how they care and watch out for one another." - Zack L

In regards to the owl fight back movement, the school's student body is encouraged to come together as one whole population to help eradicate not just racial problems, but any on-campus problems in general. This movement is also trying to create a family type bond within the University to have students help each other out, as shown in the famous quote on campus, "each one reach one, each one teach one."

Introduction: My interest

"Strive to be better then everyone else"

As you all might know, I'm a athlete here at Westfield State University. I've been running track since my freshmen year of high school. I started running track because many people; family, friends, and strangers mentioned how I should run track. Also I had played soccer since I was four years old and had played all the way up till the end of middle school. Every time after my games I would either get the refs, strangers, or family members of my teammates mentioning to me how fast I am. Eventually I gave it a try. I'm glad I did, track had really change my life and had taught me many things; to be humble, respect others, taking care of your body etc. Personally for me it was a great way to make friends.

Run with a reason

Whenever I'm about to start a race there is always one person that always run through my mind, my mom. She is a breast cancer survivor, and I remember it was really hard for me to see her in so much pain the times she was going through treatment. But she managed to keep her head tall and remain strong as she was going through this challenge. I never told her this, maybe because I didn't want to see her cry, but I know she would be proud that I'm doing it for her.
