Dallas Cowboys - Prescott #4
Zack L / Major: Criminal Justice / Grad: 2019
This is my roommate Zack, he's a retired track athletic, and for most of the time is back at the apartment; either Reading his books, making some food for the rest of us, jamming to his huge mixture of music, or watching the Dallas Cowboys. Keeping his eyes on both Elliott and Prescott. Recently I watched one of the games with Zack and I have to admit I respect the type of quarter back that Drak Prescott is. He is a top class athlete, who is able to make some amazing passes, great solo runs, and take control of the field. The best part is this is his 2nd season. So this athlete has a lot of time to grow and maybe help his team win a super bowl.
Zack's Tattoo: A wolf and it's cub
I had talked to Zack about the reason behind the story to why he wanted a back of wolfs on his chest. He's response was "A Wolf pack is similar to a human family, in terms of how they care and watch out for one another." - Zack L

The school is trying to increase diversity by being active member in movement groups such as black lives matter. Essentially their goal is to create a positive and comforting college experience for all students. The motives from the black lives matter movement on campus involves standing up for yourself and helping each other to overcome any racial challenges.

In regards to the owl fight back movement, the school's student body is encouraged to come together as one whole population to help eradicate not just racial problems, but any on-campus problems in general. This movement is also trying to create a family type bond within the University to have students help each other out, as shown in the famous quote on campus, "each one reach one, each one teach one."

As you all might know, I'm a athlete here at Westfield State University. I've been running track since my freshmen year of high school. I started running track because many people; family, friends, and strangers mentioned how I should run track. Also I had played soccer since I was four years old and had played all the way up till the end of middle school. Every time after my games I would either get the refs, strangers, or family members of my teammates mentioning to me how fast I am. Eventually I gave it a try. I'm glad I did, track had really change my life and had taught me many things; to be humble, respect others, taking care of your body etc. Personally for me it was a great way to make friends.

Run with a reason

Whenever I'm about to start a race there is always one person that always run through my mind, my mom. She is a breast cancer survivor, and I remember it was really hard for me to see her in so much pain the times she was going through treatment. But she managed to keep her head tall and remain strong as she was going through this challenge. I never told her this, maybe because I didn't want to see her cry, but I know she would be proud that I'm doing it for her.
